Partnership
The Apostle Paul takes partnership very seriously, when in Philippians, he links their partnership with his apostolic ministry, with God supplying their needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:15-19). In Chapter 1:3-7 Paul writes:
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
The Greek word for “fellowship” in verse 5 is “koinonia.” It can mean fellowship, partnership or joint participation. In other words, it is a pledge of partnership to help him fulfill his apostolic office. In verse 7 where he speaks of “my grace,” the word “my” is “sugkoinonos” implying joint partners. He is saying they were as it were, tapping into, or sharing together in the apostolic grace on his life.
The word “grace” is “charis” meaning favor, benefit, bounty, reward, and recompense. He is saying that their partnership with him in his apostolic mission positioned them to also experience this grace. In a way, they became as “shareholders” or “stockholders” if you please, in his ministry and grace God had apportioned for it.
As most of you know, I have traveled in apostolic ministry to over 80 nations these 30+ years and covered more than 6-7 million miles of travel. Many of you also tell me how much my posts bless you. A number of you have also received apostolic counsel and consultation from me for your lives and ministries that have blessed you and been life-changing.
If you would like to partner with me in this apostolic ministry, then there are 2 ways to do so.
1. You can commit to becoming a prayer partner – to regularly holding me up in intercessory prayer, or as the Holy Spirit leads you. Every apostolic ministry needs a great amount of prayer support to do what God has called them to do, and I would greatly appreciate it if the Lord is leading you to partner with me in prayer. I would ask you to please just send me a message by clicking on the banner and let me know that you will be a prayer partner.
2. You could occasionally as the Lord speaks to you invest – sow as seed into my life. I truly believe God will honor that seed, and bless you for it. To do so, you could send a check in my name to the address on the Connect page. Or, you could click here to be directed to PayPal.
These are 2 ways you could partner with me and be a blessing to my life and ministry. I will also commit to praying for those who partner with me, just as Paul did for the Philippians. Thank you so much for your prayerful consideration.
